Sometimes a League match decides your fate in Knock out Stage.Semifinal of world cup 1999 is one such incident in the history of cricket. In the semifinal between Australia and South africa Micheal Bevan and Steve Waugh made their team to reach a decent total of 213 after too many set backs in their batting.Shane warne struck South Africans with 4 key wickets and match seemed to be in their control for a while, then the hero arose out of the situation,Mr LANCE KLUSCENER,started to scare  the aussies with his blistering 32 runs in just 16 balls.but when the score were level there was a close call made but darren lehman missed the stumps ,now its DONALD who got scared to run for the next ball though its an easy run and an easy win for them.he was at the same crease watching the fielder not the other end kluscener. The match tied but the win was decided on the basis of the result of league stage match between both the teams. Finally they had to repent for it.This left them with the tag ''CHOKERS '' and which is even continuing now..
